Rooted in the Scottish Borders
Purple Sage is an award-winning Scottish botanical lifestyle brand, rooted in our cottage garden in the Scottish Borders.
What began with handcrafted botanical skincare has grown into something much broader: a way of exploring the connection between the plants we grow, the ingredients we use and the things we can create from them.
From our garden and small-batch botanical skincare to our developing Know Grow Make™ concept, workshops and botanical experiences, Purple Sage is about encouraging people to look a little more closely at the plants around them, to discover their stories, understand where ingredients come from and enjoy growing and making for themselves.
Our approach is plant-based, cruelty-free and palm oil-free, with a regenerative ethos running through the way we garden, grow and create.

At the heart of Purple Sage are twelve botanicals, connecting our garden with the botanical skincare we make.

At the heart of Purple Sage is our garden in the Scottish Borders.
We grow a range of botanicals using a regenerative approach, learning from the plants through the seasons and exploring how they can be used in everyday life and botanical skincare.
The garden is where our ideas begin and where our connection between growing and making comes to life
Botanical Skincare
Our botanical skincare is handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected plant-based ingredients.
From traditional cold-process soap to balms, serums and haircare, our products celebrate botanicals, thoughtful formulation and the pleasure of knowing a little more about what we use on our skin.

Botanical Experiences
Purple Sage is about more than the finished product. We want to share the plants, skills and stories behind what we do.
Through botanical workshops, garden experiences and our developing Know Grow Make™ concept, we encourage people to discover plants, have a go at making and reconnect with where ingredients come from.
