Plantain grows in paths, in lawns, in the cracks between paving stones. It has no particular interest in being cultivated. It simply grows where it pleases and gets on with being useful, which, in the botanical world, is a considerable amount.
Pure Plantain is an honest bar. No complexity for its own sake. Eucalyptus essential oil brings a clean, green clarity that feels immediately refreshing, balanced by the crisp herbaceous depth of rosemary. Kaolin clay cleanses without stripping. Plantain leaf reflects our belief that the most useful plants are often the ones nobody thinks to look at twice.
Olive oil, coconut butter and shea butter give a creamy, conditioning lather. Skin feels balanced, clean and genuinely looked after. Cold-processed in small batches at Sage Cottage.
